For convenience.stolen from 3Rivers. The Qarbon Nano, with its all-carbon construction is one of the lightest longbows on the market. And as bowhunters know, when you're packing your gear for a long trek to the treestand or deer camp, shaving ounces off your load is crucial. The entire Qarbon Nano bow weighs in at just two pounds. The carbon riser is rock solid for no flexing, and absorbs any shock and vibration like a sponge. No need for after market vibration dampeners on this bow.

Risers available in right or left hand. Risers and limbs sold separately. Price: $749.95 I dare say, i like the aggressive limb pad angles.thats longbow like. Well motorcycles and bows have common factors to being purchased. (DRT) I do have a BMW R1200R.

Even it has 100+ hp way more than I need to get me back and forth to work. Ya buy bows and bikes for the same reasons. Performance (advertized or rumored), then ya used 1/4 of it's abililty. Bows are just like that most of us can't use or get the bows best out of it. The other thing we talk a little about now an then.looks. It sells bows and bikes. The last thing we never talk about with bows is pride of ownership.

Yep ya know ego booster. It is fun to go to the shoot and have everyone Oooo and Aaaaa over a bow. Doesn't make ya shoot in better but fun. Bows are like bikes in another way also that doesn't get talked about. My BMW r1200r is head and shoulders above im 1970 model.

The 2009 has got absolutley the best breaks I have used on a motorcycle. There are lots of things on bikes and bows that have improved since 1970.

The best thing about bows (even expensive ones) is that ya seldom have to make payments over 5 yrs and the insurance doesn't cost ya an arm and leg. Infact i could buy some pretty dang nice bows jut on the insurace i pay on my bikes. I am not sure from looking at it that its worth $1500 but the price doesn't sound that outlandish - an A&H longbow is in that region. I believe Alaska Bowhunting had O L Adcock conceive the bow, W&W manufacture the limbs and then Jim Belcher tweaked the riser design. Thats not a bad archery pedigree - no idea if those different elements were orchestrated well or married together nicely. Someone will review and give us the skinny.

Looked at alongside the A&H offering the price isn't too far out - no idea if it offers the same performance as an ACS. Dont think its for me though. I get the idea of a lightweight carbon riser but why not incorporate bushings to add a small riser weight for balance/tuning? For myself I would more likely get some Dryad Carbon/Glass ACS ILF limbs or Border Longbow ILF and mount on a BB Warf to play in the same arena. Better value. Then again I like a bit of mass in a riser.

Still good to see new designs.
